The 67th annual Grammy Awards, held in LA, was nothing short of entertaining! We got incredible performers, speeches, and most of all SURPRISES! Here are my top 5 things I was surprised with while watching the 2025 Grammy Awards.
1. The Weeknd’s GRAND return!
The gasp I gusped seeing The Weeknd’s surprise performance was LOUD. The Weeknd has boycotted the Grammys for years, so to see him being introduced had me shook. Of course The Weeknd crushed his performance!
2. Lady Gaga dropping new song “Abracadabra”
Lady Gaga shared last week that her new album Mayhem will be released March 7th. “LG7″ will feature “Disease” and a new single “Abracadabra.” Lady Gaga surprised fans with sharing the new song on a commercial break!
3. Taylor Swift as a presenter for the country category, Beyoncé winning!
You can never forget your roots. Taylor Swift took the stage last night at the 2025 Grammys sharing that 15 years ago she was receiving her first Grammy as a country artist. She was honored to be presenting the 2025 Grammy for Best Country Album. The winner of the award? Queen Bey herself, Beyoncé! Her reaction was EVERYTHING!
Beyoncé was shook! I loved that Taylor presented the award. Talk about a full circle moment.

4. Kanye West’s shocking appearance on the carpet
I’m sure we’ve ALL seen the photo of Kanye West on the carpet with his wife, Bianca Censori. I wish she would’ve Censori-ed herself...as her wardrobe on the carpet was NOT the look I’d ever sport at an event. 0/10 rating in my book!
5. Will Smith on the stage at an award show...after this moment!
After Will Smith’s “slap heard across the world” to Chris Rock at the Oscars, I was surprised to see take the stage at the Grammys! It was so nice seeing him back!
