'The Bachelor' alums Matt James & Rachael Kirkconnell Break Up After 4 Years

Every rose has it’s thorn. The Bachelor stars, Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell have broken up.

Matt James made headlines as the first African-American Bachelor in the shows run, on season 25. The two had undeniable chemistry, so much so that Rachael was the recipient of the final rose. The pair didn’t get engaged, but they decided to date. Now, they had a rocky start, as photos emerged of Rachael at a plantation party, and the two briefly broke up, before Rachael committed to educating herself on African-American culture. Since reconnecting, the two have been inseparable, sharing their adventures with their loyal fans on Instagram.

And that is where Matt James posted news of their split on January 16th.
