Rite Aid to close all stores in New York

It’s the end of an era on Long Island, and in New York, as Rite-Aid has announced the closing of all stores in the state.

The pharmacy/retail chain makes the news ahead of its second bankruptcy filing.

Rite Aid operated 178 stores in New York and are expected to be closed or operated by a new owner in the next several months.
