I lucked out and only got one, but in Commack, that fee was $75! I can’t imagine if you got more than one!
The program was discontinued 3 years ago, but accumulated over 300,000 tickets.
Any Long Islander who received a qualifying red-light camera ticket will be contacted directly with refund claim instructions, so no need to do anything quite yet! Payments will be sent out next year.
