HOW DID I NEVER KNOW ABOUT THIS?! The Long Island Musical Theatre Festival is back on Long Island, offering students the chance to work with Broadway guest artists, perform a fully staged musical with a professional orchestra, and receive training from current industry professionals!
Now, I go on my High School Musical Tour every year, and get to see the talent that Long Island has, so I know we’ve got Broadway stars in the making right here.
This Friday, students can watch Tony Award winner Melba Moore perform iconic songs from her collection, and even have the incredible opportunity to share the stage with her! Get your tickets here.
