This is a literal SOS.
The Jonas Brothers gave fans the most intimate performance, letting us see the way they build out their shows, ahead of their Jonas20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, kicking off at MetLife Stadium August 10th.
Their musical director let fans know, it is going to be somewhat of a “rough draft” and based on fans responses, we would have a lot of say on what is performed! No seriously, they had a chalkboard they were taking notes on as the crowd responded.
They showed us a new segment of the show too called, The Wheel of Songs, where there will be several Jonas Brothers hits from their discography, and whatever it lands on they have to sing! This song will be different for each stop on tour which was pretty cool. (Hate to break it to you, Camp Rock fans, looks like Play My Music might not be featured on the Wheel of Songs, as the audience didn’t want them to perform that one. Yup, Joe wrote it down on the chalkboard to not include it on Wheel of Songs. Cross your fingers for elsewhere on the setlist!)
The guys also performed some of their songs in new ways, like their song “Used to Be” from their Happiness Begins album in 2019, had a new country spin on it!
Check out some of the performances from last Friday night at Webster Hall, where they performed their newest song, No Time To Talk, live for the first time!
The guys even had exclusive shirt made for the event!
Oh, and I was pretty jazzed, I happened to catch a drumstick that was used by drummer, Jack Lawless, and um, oh yeah, JOE FREAKIN JONAS!
I cant wait to see everything they will have planned when it comes time for the tour!
