More drama this weekend for Billy Ray Cyrus, who’s now accused of threatening to take his own son to court.

Quick recap: His son Trace spoke out last week after Billy’s rough performance at a Trump inauguration event in D.C. Trace posted an open letter, said his dad’s “not healthy,” and suggested it might be a substance thing.

Cut to this weekend: Trace posted again and said Billy told a family member he’s planning to sue him. He claimed his dad said he’s “taking legal action” just for, quote, “encouraging him to get help.”

In another post, Trace added, “I will always love you, but I no longer respect you as a man.” (Ouch.)

Trace’s younger brother Braison spoke out too, and had a very different take. He announced he’s producing his dad’s next album, landing sometime this summer. He described Billy as “happy, healthy, and ready to make this record.”
