Amazon Prime Day….is now four days!

It was originally one day when they started doing it a decade ago. The first Amazon Prime Day was July 15th, 2015, and it was 24 hours long.

They upped it to two days in 2017, but kept the name. Now it’s four days and they’re still sticking with it.

To confuse things even more, they also added a second “Prime Day” in 2022 that happens in the fall. It’s technically called “Prime Big Deal Days,” but a lot of sites just call it “Fall Prime Day.”

There’s also a “Big Spring Sale” or “Spring Prime Day” in march now. And all of them have “Early Deals” too. So it’s basically just one long “Prime Year” at this point.

The original summer version of prime day will last four days next month, from July 8th through July 11th.
