The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is unveiling a wind phone on Sunday, May 18, at the Construction Hike for Hope event.
This will be the first wind phone in a Long Island state park. The wind phone will be at Sunken Meadow Park field #3 in Kings Park.
A wind phone is a great symbol of healing, connection, and remembrance. Individuals who visit Sunken Meadow Park are able to ‘call’ and speak to loved ones they’ve lost.
